Privacy

This page explains how MyPropertyCheck handles personal data at the current stage of the product.

What we collect today

Search and property-check usage

When you use the site, we may process:

  • the address or postcode you search for
  • the property pages you open
  • technical request and error data needed to operate the service
  • limited product analytics about how key flows are used

Local device data

Some convenience features are currently stored in your browser on your device, such as:

  • recent searches
  • saved properties

These local features help the site work smoothly before account-based syncing is introduced.

What we do not ask for yet

At the current stage, the main search and free property-check flow does not require an account.

Passwordless email sign-in is planned for account-based persistence and paid report access, but it is not the default requirement for browsing and searching.

How we use data

We use operational and product data to:

  • resolve the right property
  • generate property snapshots
  • monitor reliability, errors, and performance
  • improve data quality and product experience

Data sources and third parties

MyPropertyCheck combines data from public and approved third-party sources. These sources are used to generate property-level facts, area context, and derived signals.

See the Data sources page for the main categories used in the product.

Important note

MyPropertyCheck provides decision support. It is not a legal, planning, valuation, survey, or lending service.

Contact about privacy

Public direct contact channels are not yet published. For now, use the in-product Help entry point if you need to raise a privacy concern while the public support flow is being finalized.
